Simple Step By Step Guidelines on How to Use It?
A web version of Whats App finally has been released now. That’s to say you no longer need Bluestack or Youwave and any other Android emulator to access Whats App on your PC or laptop.
Neither want to need a different cellphone number to enjoy the messaging app on both platforms. All you need is Chrome browser and you’re set to enjoy the best of what this feature has to offer. So in case you don’t have the browser installed on your PC kindly do so. The following simple steps to get WhatsApp Web installed on your PC.
Step 1
For beginner ensure you have installed the latest WhatsApp Messenger on your Android smartphone. But in case you haven’t, just go to whatsapp.com/download. Then click on the “update” button. This will automatically update the WhatsApp messenger on your smartphone to the latest version on your smart phone.Step 2
Once the WhatsApp messenger on your device has been updated.Go and launch it. You will be presented with a chat page. Click on the three straight dots shown at the top-right corner of your app in the smart phone. After which you can select WhatsApp web from the options given on it.Step 3
At this point we assume you have already downloaded and installed Google Chrome on your PC. Go ahead and launch it.Please note: WhatsApp web only works on Google Chrome. So don’t waste your time trying to configure the app with any other browser that’s not Chrome. As of now, be rest assured it won’t pan out.So, please use Google Chrome .
Step 4
Once the browser opens launch web.whatsapp.com. Let it open then click on the QR code option shown on the browser.Step 5
If you had earlier on selected WhatsApp Web on your PC.A page that scans proper QR code with your smartphone will be shown. But in case you had not, don’t flip out. Just select WhatsApp Web on your smartphone and bam, a screen scanning QR code on your chrome browser will appear. Give it some time to complete the scanning QR code before moving to the next step .Step 6
Once the process is done WhatsApp Web will automatically launched on your PC. You’ll be presented with a complete chat history and alongside a series of other available options. With this you can use WhatsApp the same way you have used it on your mobile smartphone device.At this point the process is done. You are now Enjoy to use WhatsApp on both your smartphone and PC. Remember this is the only valid option you have to use WhatsApp messenger on your PC or laptop. Although you can still use Bluestack or any other Android emulator. but all of them are a bit messy when compared to WhatsApp Web.
Worse yet while using an emulator you are not allowed to run the messenger app on more than one device in bluestack. Not at once. If you are using it on your smartphone the app will automatically be signed out on your PC. You will also be signed out on your smartphone the moment you switch to PC. But with WhatsApp web, things are pretty much the opposite.
WhatsApp has assured users that it will soon be coming up with another supportive version of WhatsApp Web that lets you enjoy the feature on other browsers as well. But until then, your options are pretty much tied down to Google Chrome.
